The Primate Fiasco is in the business of making memorable moments. They produce the sort of event within an event that leaves people feeling like they were in the right place at the right time. Most importantly, THEY NEED NO STAGE! So you don't have to weigh it against other bands. You have room in your schedule no matter what.
Picture a 5 piece brass band working its way around your campground, blowing post modern Dixie-Jazz and transforming familiar campground spaces into Mardi gras style street parties. Fans and festival goers seek out The Primate Fiasco with tambourines and hula hoops in tote. A spontaneous circus appears wherever the band roams. These spontaneous sets create great festi buzz and provide attendees with the feeling of having been part of something unique and special.
The Primate Fiasco accomplishes all of this with very little effort on the part of the event organizer. Instead of running several activities in different locations all weekend long, the band creates a party that moves around, changing its tune and vibe for each scene. Without taking up any of your valuable stage time or vending space, The Primate Fiasco offers musical entertainment and celebratory campground experiences in short random spurts that are over before they can ever interfere with other campground activities or set times. The flexibility allows you to utilize this party in endless ways from parades to kids sets to shakedown stages. Or you could simply just let the band in and move on to other tasks. The band will take care of itself.
PLUS, The Primate Fiasco will be touring the east coast, headlining venues and ambushing street corners. The band will promote your festival everywhere.
NOTABLES
AS MUCH AS YOU WANT: You can simply have the band roam around the campground all weekend or you can put them to work on several stages, parades, etc. You get to choose their services like a buffet. See the "Optional Services" below.
INTERFERENCE: We know that vendors and other spectacles might complain about sonic competition. Not only is the band very accustomed to noticing these from a mile away, they also tend to keep a map and schedule on them as to avoid these sensitive locations. The Primate Fiasco does not hesitate to comply with the needs of other people in the campground. The beauty of being mobile is that they can simply move along.
LOW MAINTENANCE: We know that you have porta-potties and city permits to deal with and we don't envy you. Therefor, booking The Primate Fiasco is made very simple. This is a low stress operation. All you need to do is confirm and then make sure the band can get through the gate. This is typically accomplished in a few short phone conversations or emails.

PARADES
Every party has one. Some are more predictable than others. The Primate Fiasco has lead parades of all demographics and all intoxication levels through unimaginable terrain.
Already have stilt walkers, puppets and other musicians for your parade? The Primate Fiasco will seamlessly integrate with all other paraders.
KIDS
*The Primate Fiasco has headlined the Kids stages at LEAF and GREEN RIVER
Playgrounds and family areas should expect a visit. After all, The Primate Fiasco's kids album Wheels On The Bus, worked it's way up the Grammy Ballot and into the CD players of countless mini-vans. Kids enjoy the high energy spastic sound that the Fiasco provides while parents get down to that festy sound that they are used to, even though its a festy version of On Top Of Spaghetti or Apples And Bananas.
Kids shows are often scheduled for the convenience of the families and they're usually on stages but random roaming performances in family camping sections or playgrounds are also common.
Here's a sample medley from the kid's album "Wheels On The Bus"
STAGE SETS
The Primate Fiasco has performed on the main and side stages of numerous festivals. When plugged in, it's a different show. The Primate Fiasco has a reputation of kicking a festival up a notch with their tuba thumping infectious funky vibe. Again, this package is more about roaming, so a lack of stage time is not a deal breaker. But when there's room, the band is as grateful as the fans.

Wrist Band Tan Line. From the CD, TAP.
FIASCO SHAKEDOWN STAGE (Not recommended for all fests)
Magic moments have happened in the tent. In the past, fans have commented on the New Orleans Marti Gras feel that it brings to the strip. They find it refreshing after many summers of droning DJs. The stage can also be used for other bands, campground open mics, announcements like "is this your dog", and general added excitement in an otherwise familiar scene.
It can be setup anywhere from parking lots to right in the heart of the festival. The entire setup can fit into a 20x20', with or without electricity.
PRICING Festivals have paid between $500-$3000 in the past. All situations are negotiated differently. Location, date and the level of exposure plays a large part in the fee.
REFFERENCES We pride ourselves on being invited BACK to major festivals.
